The Art of Reflexology dates back to Ancient Egypt, India and China some 4000 years ago. However, it was in 1917 that Dr William Fitzgerald introduced Zone Therapy to the West and in 1930 Eunice Ingham developed what we know as Reflexology today.
Reflexology is a complementary therapy, involving pressure point massage techniques applied by hand to the feet, where all internal organs and body structures are reflected in miniature.
This treatment helps the body to maintain the delicate balance between the body's systems: digestive, endocrine, lymphatic, muscular, nervous, reproductive, respiratory & skeletal. This in turn stimulates the natural healing process of the body, helping to restore and maintain optimum health.
Reflexology has shown to be effective for:
Arthritis, back pain, digestive disorders, fatigue, hormonal imbalances, insomnia, post-operative care, sinusitis and tension headaches.
Benefits of Reflexology therapy treatment:
Induces relaxation, relieves stress and tension, minimizes anxiety,
improves circulation, detoxifies the body and revitalizes energy.
Reflexology is preventative health care.
